Ministry of Commerce: Resolutely stabilize the basic market of foreign trade and foreign investment

Recently, a national video conference on stabilizing foreign trade and foreign investment was held in Beijing to make arrangements for the next stage of stabilizing foreign trade and foreign investment. The meeting stressed that it is necessary to accurately grasp the current situation of foreign trade and foreign investment, resolutely stabilize the basic situation of foreign trade and foreign investment with tangible work results, and better serve the overall situation of economic and social development.

The meeting pointed out that to stabilize the basic situation of foreign trade and foreign investment and complete the annual goals and tasks, it is necessary to make good use of policy space, identify the direction of development, take multiple measures and lay a good combination of policies and measures, and focus on ten key tasks, such as helping enterprises stabilize orders and expand markets, and further optimize the foreign investment environment.

The meeting requested that the business system should pay close attention to policy implementation, service guarantee, publicity and training, risk prevention and other work, and go all out to stabilize foreign trade and foreign investment, so as to provide strong support for promoting the continuous improvement of economic operation.

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, the data of foreign trade import and export in August has shown a marginal positive trend, and the decline of export value has narrowed by 7 percentage points compared with that in July.

商务部：坚决稳住外贸外资基本盘

      日前，全国稳外贸稳外资电视电话会议在京召开，对下一阶段稳外贸稳外资工作作出安排。会议强调，要准确把握当前外贸外资形势，以实实在在的工作成效，坚决稳住外贸外资基本盘，更好服务经济社会发展大局。

       会议指出，稳住外贸外资基本盘，完成全年目标任务。要用好政策空间，找准发力方向，多措并举打好政策措施“组合拳”，着力抓好帮助企业稳订单拓市场、进一步优化外商投资环境等十项重点工作。

       会议要求，商务系统要狠抓政策落实、服务保障、宣传培训、风险防范等各项工作，全力以赴稳住外贸稳住外资，为推动经济运行持续好转提供有力支撑。

       根据海关总署最新数据，8月外贸进出口数据已出现边际向好趋势，出口值降幅较7月收窄7个百分点。
