The return period of some Amazon products has been shortened to 14 days

Recently, Amazon Germany announced that from March 25,2024, the return time of most electronic products will be shortened from 30 days to 14 days. It is worth mentioning that after Germany, Italy also announced this new policy, which is expected to be implemented on other EU sites one after another.

According to the announcement, the return time for the following categories will be shortened from 30 days to 14 days (from the date of delivery): cameras, electronics, office supplies, computers, wireless, video games, music and video/DVD. It is worth noting that Amazon devices and Amazon refurbished products are not included.

Amazon said that this change applies to all goods in the above categories, regardless of the mode of transportation used by the seller, and the new return period will be automatically displayed on the detailed page of each product.

Amazon will continue to implement the original policy from March 25 to April 25,2024 (the return time is still 30 days). During this period, consumers can still apply for a 30-day return period through the online return center. As in the past, sellers need to process for buyers according to Amazon's return and refund policy.

From April 25,2024, a consumer's return request can only be made within 14 days after delivery. 

亚马逊部分产品退货期限缩短至14天

       日前，亚马逊德国站发布公告称，自2024年3月25日起，大多数电子产品的退货时间将从30天缩短为14天。值得一提的是，继德国站后，意大利站也宣布了这项新政策，预计这项新政策将会陆续在其他欧盟站点上实施。

       根据公告，以下类别的退货时间将从30天缩短为14天（自交付之日算起）：相机、电子产品、办公用品、计算机、无线、视频游戏、音乐和视频/DVD。值得注意的是，亚马逊设备和亚马逊翻新产品不包括在内。

       亚马逊称，这一更改适用于上述类别中的所有商品，无论卖家采用哪种运输方式，并且，新的退货期限将自动显示在每个产品的详细页面上。

       亚马逊将在2024年3月25日至4月25日期间继续执行原有政策（退货时间仍为30天），在此期间，消费者仍然可以通过在线退货中心申请为期30天的退货期限。与以往一样，卖家需要根据亚马逊的退货和退款政策为买家进行处理。

       自2024年4月25日起，消费者的退货请求只能在交付后14天内提出。
