German furniture market grows strongly

According to the research commissioned by EHI by Mittelstandsverbund ZGV, the German furniture market will achieve strong growth in 2022.

Last year, Germans bought furniture worth more than 37 billion euros, up nearly 4 percent from the previous year. German consumers spent 449 euros per person on furniture in 2022.

EHI spokesman Marco Atzberger commented: "Inflation pushing up prices is also one of the important reasons for the record sales in German furniture market.".

      德国中小企业联合总会（Mittelstandsverbund ZGV）委托EHI进行的研究表示，2022年德国家具市场实现强劲增长。

      去年，德国人购买了超过370亿欧元的家具，与上一年相比，交易额增长了近4%。2022年，消费者在家具方面的人均支出为449欧元。

      EHI发言人Marco Atzberger说：“通货膨胀推高物价也是导致德国家具市场销售额创新高的重要原因之一。”
