The global manufacturing PMI fell to 47.8% in June
Recently, the data released by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing showed that the global manufacturing PMI in June 2023 was 47.8%, down 0.5 percentage points from the previous month, falling month-on-month for four consecutive months, and falling below 50% for nine consecutive months, hitting a new low since June 2020 again.
In June, the PMI of Asian manufacturing industry was 50.4%, which was the same as that of last month and was above 50% for six consecutive months, indicating that Asian manufacturing industry continued to maintain a steady growth trend.
From the perspective of major Asian countries, although China's manufacturing PMI is still below 50%, the economic operation has stabilized, the decline in market demand has slowed down, the accelerated growth of new kinetic energy demand has become more prominent, the production of enterprises has increased steadily, and the destocking of raw materials and finished products has continued to advance, and market prices have also stabilized; India's manufacturing industry continues to maintain a high growth rate. Although it has slowed down from last month, the PMI is still above 57%; Japan's manufacturing industry contracted again and PMI fell below 50%; The manufacturing industry in Vietnam and South Korea still maintained a downward trend, with PMI below 48%.

从亚洲主要国家看，中国制造业PMI虽仍在50%以下，但经济运行有所趋稳，市场需求下降势头放缓，新动能需求加快增长势头较为突出，企业生产稳中有增，原材料和产成品去库存持续推进，市场价格也有所趋稳；印度制造业继续保持较高增速，虽较上月有所放缓，但PMI仍在57%以上；日本制造业再度收缩，PMI降至50%以下；越南及韩国制造业仍保持下行态势，PMI在48%以下。
