180 million people lined up in Black Five, and Yiwu "exploded the order"!
The United States has seen its annual "Black Friday" shopping season, with many businesses slashing prices to lure consumers. The National Retailers' Federation estimates 130.7 million people will shop online or offline on the day.
From Thanksgiving Day on the 23rd to Cyber Monday on the 27th, it is estimated that 182 million Americans will shop offline and online. This number is not only higher than last year's 166 million, but also the highest since the statistics began in 2017.
So far, spending during the Black Five shopping season has exceeded expectations. US consumers spent $63.2 billion online in the 20 days leading up to the Black Five shopping season, up 5 percent from last year, according to data.
To a great extent, Yiwu's goods enter thousands of households through buyers from all over the world, and most of them are engaged in wholesale business. This year, more business households in Yiwu International Trade City have turned their attention to cross-border e-commerce platforms.
In Yiwu, this year's "Black Friday" online sales are in the warm-up stage, and Christmas products, warm-keeping products and other categories have exploded, and the sales volume has increased significantly. At present, cross-border e-commerce is rapidly becoming a new engine for Yiwu's export growth.
