Temu expands European distribution network
In order to gain a foothold in the highly competitive European market, Temu, a cross-border e-commerce company owned by Pinduoduo, has once again made great efforts in logistics.
It is reported that in order to expand its logistics distribution network in Europe, Temu has cooperated with three European express delivery companies, Poste Italiane, CTT and Mail Alliance, which has significantly improved its distribution capacity and further accelerated its logistics speed.
Since its debut in Europe about seven months ago, Temu has quickly become the preferred platform for consumers to shop through its model of shipping directly from manufacturers, which enables Temu to offer competitive prices while providing healthy profit margins for sellers.
For a long time, Temu's logistics problems have also attracted much attention. At present, Temu adopts domestic delivery and cooperation with overseas local express delivery companies. This mode has high logistics cost, low transportation efficiency, and sometimes there will be warehouse explosion.
Although the extremely low price and free delivery service of Temu products can make many overseas consumers tolerate the logistics problems of the platform, Temu also knows that logistics is very important for e-commerce. Therefore, Temu has made frequent efforts to solve the problem of transcontinental cargo transportation by sea clippers recently.
