Amazon USA and Europe: FBA capacity limit temporarily reduced in November

On October 30th, Amazon Europe and America announced that the FBA capacity limit will be temporarily reduced in November to cope with the work adjustment of their operation centers.

On average, November's capacity limit is enough to provide five months of inventory storage space, the announcement said. In November and December, Amazon will focus on processing customer orders. This temporary shift may lead to delays in receiving goods, but will ensure faster delivery speed and maximize sellers' sales potential during the holiday period. 

To ensure sellers stay within their November capacity limits, Amazon advises sellers to send all inventory for 2024 events such as Lunar New Year after December 31,2023. Sellers can view capacity limits and capacity usage through the capacity monitor. 

If the seller needs additional storage capacity, it can request to increase the limit through the storage capacity manager. If the seller needs more storage capacity after the holiday season, it can use Amazon Warehouse Distribution Network to store additional inventory and automatically replenish it to Amazon FBA warehouse.

Amazon stressed that the policy will apply to all seller self-delivery, FBA and Amazon retail orders. Although the return period of most orders has been extended, the return eligibility of all orders remains unchanged.

亚马逊美国站和欧洲站：11月FBA容量限制暂时降低

       10月30日，亚马逊欧洲站和美国站发布公告称，为配合其运营中心的工作调整，FBA容量限制将在11月份暂时降低。

       公告表示，平均而言，11月份的容量限制足以提供五个月的库存存储空间。11月和12月，亚马逊将重点处理客户订单。这种临时转变可能会导致收货延迟，但将确保更快的交货速度并最大限度地提高卖家在假期期间的销售潜力。

       为了确保卖家保持在11月份的容量限制内，亚马逊建议卖家在2023年12月31日之后发送用于2024年活动（例如农历新年）的所有库存。卖家可通过库容监视器来查看库容限制和容量使用情况。

       如果卖家需要额外库容，可以通过库容管理器请求增加限制。若卖家在假日季结束后需要更多的库容，可以使用亚马逊入仓分销网络来仓储额外库存，并自动补货到亚马逊FBA仓库。

       亚马逊强调，该政策将适用于所有卖家自配送、FBA和亚马逊零售订单。尽管大多数订单的退货期限被延长，但所有订单的退货资格仍保持不变。
