90% of goods will have zero tariff! China's 29th free trade partner is coming 

On October 17, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and Serbian Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirovic signed the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on behalf of their respective governments.

This is the first free trade agreement signed between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and it is also the 22nd free trade agreement signed by China. Serbia has become China's 29th free trade partner.

Negotiations on China-Serbia FTA started in April 2023 and were substantially completed by the end of September. After the signing of the agreement, both sides will fulfill their respective domestic legal examination and approval procedures to promote the early entry into force of the agreement.

       10月17日，商务部部长王文涛与塞尔维亚国内和对外贸易部部长托米斯拉夫·米罗维奇，分别代表本国政府签署了《中华人民共和国政府和塞尔维亚共和国政府自由贸易协定》。

       这是中国与中东欧国家签署的第一个自贸协定，也是中国签署的第22个自贸协定，塞尔维亚成为中国第29个自贸伙伴。

       中塞自贸协定谈判于2023年4月启动，9月底实质性完成。协定签署后，双方将分别履行各自国内法律审批程序，推动协定早日生效实施。
