On October 14th, India announced a new import restriction order in August this year, imposing import license requirements on notebook computers, tablet computers and other products. The latest news said that the Indian government plans to abandon this import restriction measure.

According to Reuters, Indian Trade Minister Sunil Barthwal publicly stated at a press conference held this Friday:"There will be no restrictions on the import of notebook computers, but the government will pay close attention to the import situation".

Earlier, India announced this import restriction strategy on August 3, which was originally planned to take effect immediately. However, after being pressured by many parties, it announced a delay of three months, and then announced a delay of one year again.
