Maersk invests in Rijeka Terminal and is expected to start operation in 2025

The joint venture between Maersk's terminal division and Croatia's ENNA Group marks the start of the future construction of the 380 million euro ($405 million) Rijeka Gateway terminal, the largest investment in Croatia's Rijeka history.

The container terminal, which will be developed in two phases, will begin operations in 2025, with an investment of more than 200 million euros in the first phase over the next two years. The move will create 300 jobs for the terminal itself, with a further investment of 180 million euros over the next 10 years.

       马士基(Maersk)码头部门与克罗地亚ENNA集团(ENNA Group)组建的合资企业，标志着未来耗资3.8亿欧元（合4.05亿美元）的里耶卡港(Rijeka Gateway)码头的建设开始。这是克罗地亚里耶卡历史上最大的一笔投资。

       该集装箱码头将分两个阶段开发，于2025年开始运营，未来两年一期投资超过2亿欧元。此举将为航站楼本身创造300个就业岗位，并将在未来10年内再投资1.8亿欧元。
