PIL Launches Direct Flight Service between China and South American Countries
PIL has launched two improved weekly direct services connecting major ports in China, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
East Coast Service 1 (ES1) and East Coast Service 2 (ES2) build on Pacific International Lines' existing Central and South America Service (SSA) and South America Service 2 (SA2).
ES1 will commence in Shanghai on May 10,2024 and be served by 13 vessels jointly deployed by PIL, Evergreen Marine, Cosco Shipping Lines and CMA CGM. ES2 will commence in Qingdao on May 2,2024 and will be served by the same group of 12 vessels deployed.
PIL recently opened its own office in Brazil-Pacific International Shipping Company Agenisa Maritime (Brazil)-and will deploy four ships.
William Ho, general manager of Pacific International Lines' long-haul trading division, said:"After we strengthened our business on the west coast of South America, we hope to strengthen our business on the east coast of South America and promote better connectivity.
