Italy's international shipping company announces major transformation
At a two-day meeting in the offices of Melzo and Spezia, Tom Eckelmann, a board member and shareholder of Kangshi Group, a leading Italian container terminal and logistics provider, reiterated Eurokai's strong commitment to supporting the company's growth in its major transformation and development efforts.
Eckelmann emphasized to senior management and employees Kangshi's key role as a major operator in Italy and the Mediterranean. In addition, in addition to the $266 million already allocated for the expansion of Lavanaugh, an additional investment of $53 million in LSCT terminals was announced.
The new investment plan, which will be realized over the next two years, will prioritize the strengthening of Fornelli Terminal and the purchase of new equipment to ensure the competitiveness and operational efficiency of the Terminal.

At the staff meeting, Tom Eckelmann paid tribute to Cecilia Eckelmann Battistello, the late President of Conshi Italy Group, for her significant contributions to the company's development and global expansion over the past few decades.
