International shipping company ONE launches environmental protection shipping services

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has launched a new environmentally friendly shipping service, ONE LEAF +. This service is specifically designed to align with the shipping industry's common decarbonization goals. ONE LEAF + enables customers to actively monitor their emissions and reduce their environmental footprint throughout the value chain.

ONE LEAF + provides customers with various advantages, such as:

1. Reduce carbon footprint: ONE will use standard-compliant alternative fuels on selected ships, enabling customers to reduce category 3 greenhouse gas emissions associated with ONE transportation.

2. Increased transparency: Through ONE LEAF, customers will be certified detailing carbon dioxide equivalent reductions and verified by an independent third-party certification body for their goods using ONE. This allows them to monitor their progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals progress.

3. Enhanced cooperation: ONE will continue to build partnerships with equally focused entities involved in sustainable development efforts.

According to a statement, alternative fuels and carbon management represent ONE's cornerstone initiatives as it strives to achieve its ambitious goal of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, including Scope 2 and Scope 3. ONE remains committed to implementing the strategy described in its roadmap to achieve this net zero goal by 2050.
