DHL International Express Opens Direct Freight Route to Sydney, Australia
Recently, DHL Express has opened a cargo route between Hong Kong, China and Sydney, Australia to meet the growing traffic volume between Hong Kong and Australia.
The route runs five times a week on a Kalita Airlines Boeing 777-200 freighter operated by Tasman Cargo Airlines. The cargo aircraft has a maximum load of 105 tons, adding more than 500 tons to the total payload per week.
In response to the growing demand for trade among Asian countries, DHL said that after arriving in Hong Kong, flights from Sydney will provide next-day express delivery services to Hong Kong, China, mainland China, India, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Andy Chiang, senior vice president and managing director of DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau, said:"Hong Kong continues to maintain a strategic position as an important regional logistics center, helping to facilitate trade flows in the Asia-Pacific region."

近日,DHL速递开通了中国香港-澳大利亚悉尼的货运航线,以满足香港和澳大利亚之间运输量的日益增长。
该航线每周5班,执飞机型为卡利塔航空的波音777-200货机,由塔斯曼货运航空运营。货机的最大载重量为105吨,使每周的总有效载荷增加了500多吨。
为了应对亚洲国家贸易日益增长的需求,DHL表示,从悉尼出发的航班在抵达香港后,提供飞往中国香港、中国大陆、印度、韩国、日本、马来西亚、中国台湾、泰国、菲律宾和越南的次日快递服务。
