WiseTech Global will cooperate with Finnish customs freight forwarders

WiseTech Global, developer of logistics software CargoWise, announced an acquisition agreement with Aktiv Data, a Finland-based provider of e-customs and freight forwarding solutions.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Jakarta, Aktiv Data focuses on cloud-based freight forwarding and customs systems, especially their nTrax platform. In addition, they also offer freight forwarding, bonded warehouses and waybill products. nTrax simplifies local and transit customs procedures and simplifies direct information exchange with Finnish customs offices.

"Our strategy is to provide a single global customs system for customs clearance and cross-border compliance, making customs processing for international freight forwarders more efficient, compliant and secure. Through the acquisition of Aktiv Data, our global customs system will be through our local The combination of customs platforms and acquired businesses covers about 76% of global manufacturing trade flows." Bilanovsky added.

Aktiv Data's business will be seamlessly integrated into WiseTech Global Group, while retaining Kaj Svarvar's current leadership. The company will insist on providing customs solutions directly to customers and gradually introduce other CargoWise solutions in the future.
