Haiti suspends all commercial international air flights

Port-au-Prince International Air Airport, also known as Port-au-Prince Toussaint Louverture International Airport, is the international airport in Port-au-Prince, the capital of the Republic of Haiti. The development grant came from the US government and was built in 1965. It is currently the largest and busiest airport in Haiti.

It is also the country's main gateway to the outside world. The airport provides regular domestic, regional and international passenger and cargo services to Montreal, Paris, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York, Panama City, San Diego and Santo Domingo.

In addition to Haitian domestic and regional airlines operating at the airport, many major North American airlines also provide scheduled flights at the airport, such as Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airlines and Spirit Airlines.

According to a number of Haitian media reported on April 6 local time, all commercial flights to and from Haiti again suspended. When to resume further notice.

Insurers warned of the dangers of flying over Haiti after several airlines announced they would resume flights and schedule flights to and from Haiti. 

海地暂停全部商业国际空运航班

       太子港国际空运机场又名太子港杜桑·卢维杜尔国际机场(Port Au Prince Toussaint Louverture International Airport)，是海地共和国首都太子港的国际机场，开发补助金来自美国政府，于1965年建成，目前是海地最大最繁忙的空港。

       同时也是该国主要的对外门户。机场主营国内、地区和国际定期的客货运输业务，通航至蒙特利尔、巴黎、劳德代尔堡、迈阿密、纽约、巴拿马城、圣地亚哥和圣多明各等。

       除了海地国内和支线航空公司在该机场运营外，众多北美的主要航空公司也在该机场提供定期航班，如加拿大航空、美国航空、达美航空、捷蓝航空和精神航空等。

       据海地多家媒体当地时间4月6日报道，所有往返于海地的商业航班再次暂停。何时恢复另行通知。

       此前，多家航空公司宣布将恢复往返于海地境内外的航班并公布航班时刻表。消息公布后，保险公司警告说，在海地上空飞行仍存在危险性。
