Dozens of containers looted in Port-au-Prince, Haiti
According to CCTV News, a report released by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on March 28th showed that in the first three months of this year, gang violence in Haiti killed 1,554 people and injured 826 others.
The report emphasizes that corruption, impunity and poor governance, combined with increasingly rampant gang violence, have weakened the rule of law in Haiti, bringing the country's government institutions to the brink of collapse and serious denial of human rights. The report calls for immediate action to deal with the "catastrophic situation" in Haiti.
On March 29th, local time, the Haitian government announced that it would extend the curfew in the western province where Port-au-Prince is located from now on until April 1st, and the state of emergency will continue until April 3rd according to the decree issued on the 6th of this month.
Intruders broke into one of Haiti's main port terminals, the Caribbean Port Service (CPS) terminal, as violence escalated in the country after the government extended a state of emergency. CNN satellite images showed people gathering outside the area and pouring in through an opening in the street. The container port terminal area was littered with supplies.
Earlier, the largest port in the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, was also vandalized by armed bandits, who looted containers from Haiti's domestic and international institutions. Hundreds of people looted dozens of containers and took away everything they found along the way in the port.
海地太子港内数十个集装箱被洗劫

近日，海地政府延长紧急状态后，该国暴力事件升级，又有入侵者闯入了海地的一个主要港口码头-加勒比港口服务 (CPS) 码头。CNN的卫星图像显示，人们聚集在该地区外，并通过街道的一个开口涌入。集装箱港口码头区域散落着大量物资。
此前，海地首都太子港最大港口也曾遭到武装匪徒的破坏，他们劫掠了海地国内和国际机构的集装箱。数百人劫掠了几十个集装箱，抢走了他们在这个港口中一路上发现的所有东西。
