Delta International Air Transport Company expands its scheduled service scope

Delta Freight has expanded the service range of its online booking platform WebCargo by Freightos to include more destinations and products.

The airline added its general cargo products and tariff tickets to the platform in 2020, but has now expanded to include the airline's global network outside the United States, as well as DASH Heavy for emergency personal transportation in the U.S. domestic market, and general cargo and express heavy products for U.S. exports.

WebCargo said its users now have access to more than 250 destinations served by Delta Air Lines. Meanwhile, Delta Cargo has also put its capacity on Freightos' U.S. truck portal 7LFreight, so customers can book services and flights below trucks.

Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos, said:"The combination of global and domestic air cargo, especially in the United States, will change the rules of the game and improve the efficiency of global trade. 7LFreight by Freightos has provided digital booking for domestic LTL cargo in the United States."

Brennan O 'dowd, chief executive of 7L Freight by Freightos, added:"Our customer base is mainly US freight forwarders. Delta Freight's presence on 7L Freight not only enables it to reach our extensive user base directly, but also greatly simplifies the booking process for 7L Freight users."

Freightos said Delta Freight recently saw a three-fold increase in bookings registered through WebCargo from a year earlier.

       Freightos表示，达美货运最近通过WebCargo注册的预订量同比增长了三倍。
