Hong Kong Airlines will resume direct flights to Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands

Hong Kong Airlines will resume direct flights from Hong Kong to Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands on April 28, using a two-cabin Airbus A330-300 aircraft for a five-hour flight, including business class reclining seats. This will be the only route connecting Hong Kong and the Mariana Islands.

Hong Kong Airlines A330-300 has 32 seats in business class 1-2-1 and 260 seats in economy class 2-4-2. The flight from Hong Kong to Saipan is scheduled to fly every Thursday and Sunday, leaving Hong Kong at 19:35 and arriving in Saipan at 0:35 the next morning.

The return flight will fly from Saipan to Hong Kong at 0:45 am every Friday and Monday, and return to Hong Kong at 5:45 am on the same day. This new service has not yet started to accept reservations.

Formally known as the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, it is made up of 14 tropical islands, with Saipan as the capital and the largest. Things that can be done in the Mariana Islands include diving, water sports and cave climbing.

The Mariana Islands are hard to reach. Flights to Saipan are rare, and only South Korea has several low-cost airlines flying to Saipan from Seoul and Busan. In addition, there are United Airlines flying to Guam and Tokyo.

香港航空公司将恢复直飞北马里亚纳群岛塞班岛航线

       香港航空公司将于4月28日起恢复香港至北马里亚纳群岛塞班岛的直飞航线，使用两舱的空客A330-300飞机执飞5小时的航程，其中包括商务舱的平躺座位。这将是连接香港和马里亚纳群岛的唯一航线。

       香港航空A330-300飞机的1-2-1平躺商务舱有32个座位，2-4-2经济舱有260个座位。由香港至塞班岛的航班定于每周四及周日执飞，于19：35由香港起飞，翌日上午零时三十五分抵达塞班岛。

       回程航班将于每周五及周一凌晨零时四十五分由塞班岛飞回香港，并于当日早上5:45抵达香港。这项新服务尚未开始接受预订。

       正式名称为北马里亚纳群岛联邦，由14个热带岛屿组成，塞班岛是首都，也是最大的岛屿。在马里亚纳群岛可以做的事情包括潜水、水上运动和洞穴攀登。

       马里亚纳群岛很难到达。飞往塞班岛的航班很少，只有韩国有几家低成本航空公司从首尔和釜山飞往塞班岛。除此之外，还有飞往关岛和东京的联合航空公司。
