US international shipping ships have been attacked by missiles many times

Yahya Salea, spokesman of Houthi armed forces in Yemen, issued a statement on the 19th, saying that Houthi armed forces fired several missiles at an American ship MADO sailing in the Red Sea. Salea also said that Houthi armed forces used missiles to attack the Israeli Red Sea city of Eilat and "accurately hit the target".

According to the relevant shipping information website,"MADO" is a liquefied natural gas ship flying the flag of Marshall Islands and operated by a Greek company. Until February this year, the ship had been operated by ExxonMobil Oil Company of the United States.

The British Maritime Trade Action Office previously reported that the MADO suffered two missile attacks in the Red Sea on the 15th and the Gulf of Aden on the 17th, causing no casualties or hull damage.

The IDF said on the 17th that a "suspicious aircraft" entered Israeli airspace from the Red Sea that night and fell into an open space in the north of Eilat, causing no casualties or property losses. The IDF confirmed on the evening of the 19th that it was a cruise missile that hit Eilat, Israel.

It is the first time Houthi missiles have hit Israeli territory, reports said. In previous attacks, missiles and drones fired from Yemen hit neighboring countries or were intercepted by air defense systems. 

美国国际海运船多次遭导弹袭击

       也门胡塞武装发言人叶海亚·萨雷亚19日发表声明称，胡塞武装向在红海航行的一艘美国船只“马多”号(MADO)发射了多枚导弹。萨雷亚还说，胡塞武装使用导弹攻击了以色列红海城市埃拉特，并“准确击中目标”。

       相关航运信息网站显示，“马多”号是一艘悬挂马绍尔群岛国旗、由一家希腊公司运营的液化天然气船。今年2月以前，该船一直由美国埃克森美孚石油公司运营。

       英国海上贸易行动办公室此前曾报告，“马多”号15日在红海、17日在亚丁湾两次遭遇导弹袭击，均未造成人员伤亡或船体受损。

       以色列国防军17日说，有“可疑飞行器”当晚从红海进入以色列领空，并落入埃拉特北部的一处空地，没有造成人员伤亡或财产损失。以色列国防军19日晚间证实，击中以色列埃拉特的是一枚巡航导弹。

       报道称，这是胡塞组织的导弹首次击中以色列领土。在以前的袭击中，从也门发射的导弹和无人机击中的是邻国或被防空系统所拦截。
