Attention! Maersk and CMA CGM suspended the port call

Recently, Maersk and CMA CGM have informed their customers that their joint Bossa Nova/SIRIUS service connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the east coast of South America will be adjusted soon.

From March 14th, Rio de Janeiro Port (southbound) will suspend its docking until July, with the specific date to be confirmed.

According to CMA CGM, these challenges stem from the maintenance work of Santos BTP Pier 1 after the accident and the ongoing public works in Navegantes.

Maersk pointed out in a statement:"Operational challenges are expected to last at least until the second quarter of 2024。”

It is reported that the revised port rotation order is: Algeciras (Spain), Tangier (Morocco), El Salvador (Brazil), Santos (Brazil), Paranagua (Brazil), Itapoa (Brazil), Paranagua (Brazil), Santos (Brazil), Itaguai (Brazil), Tangier (Morocco)，Algeciras (Spain).

       近日，Maersk和CMA CGM已通知其客户，他们连接地中海和南美洲东海岸的联合Bossa Nova/SIRIUS服务即将进行调整。

       从3月14日起，里约热内卢港（南行）将暂停停靠至7月，具体日期有待确认。

       CMA CGM称，这些挑战源于Santos BTP 1号码头在事故发生后的维修工作，以及Navegantes正在进行的公共工程。

       而马士基在一份声明中指出：“运营挑战预计将至少持续到2024年第二季度。”

       据悉，修改后的港口轮换顺序为：阿尔赫西拉斯（西班牙）、丹吉尔（摩洛哥）、萨尔瓦多（巴西）、桑托斯（巴西）、巴拉那瓜（巴西）、伊塔波阿（巴西）、巴拉那瓜（巴西）、桑托斯（巴西）、伊塔瓜伊（巴西）、丹吉尔（摩洛哥）、阿尔赫西拉斯（西班牙）。
