CMA CGM Group adjusts EEIS surcharge from Turkey to Spain

In response to changing regional developments, CMA CGM has adjusted the Air Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EEIS) from Turkey to Spain. The EEIS will apply to inland waterways, originating in Turkey (excluding Mersin and Iskenderun) and destined for the Spanish Mediterranean.

In addition, this surcharge will apply to dry goods (including special equipment), IMO and refrigerated goods. The revised amount of the EEIS will be US $246 per 20-foot container and US $273 per 40-foot container.

In addition, CMA CGM's revised surcharge applies to goods destined for the Spanish Mediterranean from Mersin and Iskenderun ports at $164 per 20-foot container and $219 per 40-foot container.

CMA CGM announced the update of Indonesia's local port charges, which will take effect from March 15,2024 (the date of original port) until further notice, and goods to the United States will take effect on April 10,2024.

The shipping company said the adjusted fee will only be applied at the ports of Jakarta and Bela Bay in Indonesia. The fee will apply to all types of import and export cargo. The updated fee is $15 for 20-foot containers,$20 for 40-foot containers and $25 for 45-foot containers.

       CMA CGM宣布更新印尼当地港口收费，该收费将从2024年3月15日（原装港口日期）起生效，直至另行通知，对美国的货物将于2024年4月10日生效。
