Malaysia will build the first artificial intelligence container port



Recently, Malaysia's first artificial intelligence (AI) container port will be built in Port Dickson, with an estimated cost of RM 2 billion (about RMB 3.042 billion). The port project is developed by Midport Holdings, a subsidiary of TANCO, in cooperation with MBINS, and will be fully funded by Midport Holdings.


Datuk Seri Aminuddin, minister of Senzhou, said that the port, located in Pasir Panjang, Port Dickson, has a 1.8 km long wharf coastline, about 80.93 hectares of container operation area and equipped with automatic gantry cranes. The construction of the port will have a positive impact on the national and state economy, especially the estimated 5,000 new jobs in various fields.


Due to its proximity to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the construction of the port can promote the development of national logistics and maritime transport services. In addition, the geographical location of the port is also meaningful, with a network of roads and expressways connecting Sinawang, Julai, Sepang and industrial areas around Malacca in Senzhou.


He also said that the artificial intelligence technology adopted by the new port will definitely have the best impact on the whole shipping and freight service chain, such as ship entry and exit registration, mobile scheduling and tracking of offshore operations around the port.


"With artificial intelligence technology, all port operations will no longer need to be completed manually. This will improve efficiency and reduce human errors and accidents during operation. The system will analyze traffic data, demand and the latest trends to help make decisions at one time." 




马来西亚将建首个人工智能集装箱港口


       日前,马来西亚首个人工智能(AI)集装箱港口将建在Port Dickson,预计耗资20亿令吉(约合人民币30.42亿元)。该港口项目是由登高集团(TANCO)子公司——Midport控股,与森州大臣机构(MBINS)合作发展,并将由Midport控股全额出资。


       森州大臣拿督斯里阿米努丁表示,该港口位于Port Dickson Pasir Panjang,拥有1.8公里长的码头岸线,以及约80.93公顷的集装箱作业区,配备自动操作的门式起重机。建设港口将对国家和州经济带来正面影响,特别是预计在各领域新增5000个就业机会。


       由于该港口靠近吉隆坡国际机场的位置,其建设可以促进国家物流和海上运输服务业的发展。此外,该港口的地理位置也具有意义,拥有连接森州新那旺、汝来、雪邦和马六甲周围工业区的道路和高速公路网络。


       他还说,新港口采用的人工智能科技,必将对整个海运和货运服务链产生最佳影响,例如船只进出登记、移动调度以及港口周围海上作业的追踪。


       “有了人工智能技术,所有港口作业将不再需要由人工完成。这将提高效率、减少人为错误及运营过程中发生事故。系统将分析交通数据、需求和最新趋势,以帮助一次性作出决策。”
