Throughput of national ports released from January to July

A few days ago, the Ministry of Transport released the national port cargo and container throughput data from January to July 2023. From January to July, the national ports completed a total cargo throughput of 9.62 billion tons, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year, of which the domestic and foreign trade throughput increased by 9.2% and 8.8% respectively; Completed container throughput of 180 million TEUs, up 4.5% year-on-year.

Compared with last month's data, the growth rate of domestic trade has improved, and the growth rate of exports continues to be under pressure. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, in July this year, China's import and export was 482.92 billion US dollars, down 13.6%. Among them, exports were 281.76 billion US dollars, down 14.5%; Imports reached US $201.16 billion, down 12.4 percent.

From January to July, the top 10 container throughput of ports in China are: Shanghai Port (No.1), Ningbo Zhoushan Port (No.2), Qingdao Port (No.3), Shenzhen Port (No.4), Guangzhou Port (No.5), Tianjin Port (No.6), Xiamen Port (No.7), Suzhou Port (No.8)

全国港口1-7月吞吐量发布

       近日，交通运输部发布2023年1-7月全国港口货物、集装箱吞吐量数据。1-7月，全国港口总共完成货物吞吐量96.2亿吨，同比增长7.8%，其中内、外贸吞吐量分别增长9.2%和8.8%；完成集装箱吞吐量1.8亿标箱，同比增长4.5%。

       与上个月数据相比，内贸增速有所提升，出口增速持续承压。据海关总署数据显示，按美元计价，今年7月份我国进出口4829.2亿美元，下降13.6%，出口2817.6亿美元，下降14.5%，进口2011.6亿美元，下降12.4%。

1-7月，全国港口集装箱吞吐量前10名分别是：上海港（第1）、宁波舟山港（第2）、青岛港（第3）、深圳港（第4）、广州港（第5）、天津港（第6）、厦门港（第7）、苏州港（第8）、北部湾港（第9）、日照港（第10）。
