Meilan airport opens a new freight route!
On March 5th, Haikou Meilan International Airport successfully opened the Incheon-Haikou-Singapore cargo route. This is the first round-trip cargo route connecting Southeast Asia to Northeast Asia opened by Meilan Airport in 2024.
It is also the third freight route with the fifth freedom right after "Haikou-Singapore-Jakarta" and "Incheon-Haikou-Kuala Lumpur", which further enhances the coverage, accessibility and radiation range of the freight route network of Hainan Free Trade Port.
It is reported that the inbound flights of this route mainly carry duty-free goods, while the outbound flights mainly carry e-commerce parcels and small commodities from Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as well as fresh aquatic products from Hainan. The maiden flight is full of 20 tons of cargo, and it is estimated that it will increase the capacity of Meilan Airport by 80 tons every week.
The route is operated by Incheon Airlines and operated by B737-800SF all-cargo plane. Take off from Incheon at 1:20 every Tuesday and Thursday; Arrive in Haikou at 5:25 and take off from Haikou at 6:25; Landing in Singapore at 10:00; Depart from Singapore at 11:00; Arrive in Haikou at 14:30 and take off from Haikou at 15:30; Return to Incheon at 20:35 (all the above times are local time).
According to Meilan Airport, the opening of this route not only better meets the freight logistics needs of the three places, but also provides a broader platform for deepening economic and trade cooperation among the three places. At the same time, this route also provides a more accurate, efficient and convenient air logistics choice for the transportation of duty-free goods in Hainan, which is helpful to build a brand of duty-free goods directly entering ports and promote the development of Hainan Free Trade Port and international tourism consumption center.
美兰机场开通货运新航线！
3月5日，海口美兰国际机场顺利开通仁川-海口-新加坡货运航线。这是美兰机场2024年开通的首条连通东南亚至东北亚的往返货运航线。
也是继“海口一新加坡一雅加达”、“仁川—海口三吉隆坡”后开通的第三条第五航权货运航线，进一步提升海南自贸港货运航线网络的覆盖面、通达性和辐射范围。
据悉，该航线的入境航班主要载运免税品，出境航班主要载运广深等地的电商包裹、小商品以及海南当地的鲜活水产品等货物。首航航班满载20吨货物，后续预计每周可为美兰机场增加80吨的运力。
该航线由仁川航空运营，采用B737-800SF全货机执飞。每周二、周四1：20从仁川起飞；5：25抵达海口，6：25从海口起飞；10：00落地新加坡；11：00从新加坡起飞；14：30抵达海口，15：30从海口起飞；20：35返回仁川（以上时刻均为当地时间）。
