Emirates Shipping Company launches new COSMOS service

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) announced the launch of a new COSMOS (CMX) service and enhanced its existing GALEX (GLX) service, aiming to optimize the shipping time and increase the frequency between the Far East and the Middle East.

The rotation of ports served by ESL is as follows: COSMOS: Shanghai (China)-Ningbo (China)-Dachan Bay (China)-Jebel Ali (United Arab Emirates)-Sohar (Oman)-Port Klang (Malaysia)-Shanghai (China).

The ESL said that the combination of these services has greatly reduced the transportation time from East Asia to the Middle East and increased the overall service frequency.

With the addition of the CMX service, which marks the company's second service from Central China to the Middle East and its third from South China to the Middle East, the company now offers nine services through Jebel Ali, providing access to major ports in the Indian subcontinent and Africa.

In addition, according to ESL's statement, the improved GLX rotation service benefits customers in Upper Gulf, Red Sea and Africa, ensuring that the transportation time to major ports in Asia via Jebel Ali is reduced.

       阿联酋航运公司(ESL)宣布推出新的COSMOS(CMX)服务，并加强其现有的GALEX(GLX)服务，旨在优化远东和中东之间的运输时间和增加频率。

       ESL服务的港口轮转如下:COSMOS:上海（中国）-宁波（中国）-大铲湾（中国）-杰贝阿里（阿联酋）-索哈尔（阿曼）-巴生港（马来西亚）-上海（中国）；GALEX:釜山（韩国）-青岛（中国）-厦门（中国）-南沙（中国）-大铲湾（中国）-巴生港（马来西亚）-杰贝阿里（阿联酋）-达曼（沙特阿拉伯）-富尔坎（阿联酋）-釜山（韩国）。

       ESL称，这些服务结合起来，大大减少了从东亚到中东的运输时间，提高了整体服务频率。

       随着CMX服务的加入，该公司现在通过杰贝阿里提供九项服务，提供通往印度次大陆和非洲主要港口的通道。CMX服务标志着该公司从华中到中东的第二次服务，从华南到中东的第三次服务。

       此外，根据ESL的声明，改进后的GLX轮转服务使上海湾、红海和非洲的客户受益，确保减少经杰贝阿里到亚洲主要港口的运输时间。
