FedEx launches priority express service for LCL goods

FedEx and FedEx Logics announced the launch of the new FedEx LCL Priority Express Service, which provides port-to-portal and door-to-door customs clearance solutions.

The service combines timeliness and economy and provides a new efficiency benchmark. By integrating maritime and road networks, the new service flexibly connects major markets in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. 

FedEx LCL Priority Delivery Service provides enterprises with a flexible experience tailored to their specific needs, whether they give priority to faster transportation or more economical transportation costs.

By working with a single point of contact with FedEx, businesses can simplify their shipping operations and avoid complex communication between multiple freight forwarders. In addition, the solution's end-to-end visibility tracing enables full monitoring from port to portal, thus improving efficiency and transparency.

This "sea-road" solution is expected to shorten the transportation time from Asia-Pacific region to countries in the Middle East by 8 to 10 days, and provide customs clearance services, aiming at helping enterprises optimize transportation speed, efficiency and cost.

Major markets in the Middle East and Middle East Road Network (MERN) include Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Transit times and services may vary depending on the type of shipment, specific origin and destination.
