OOCL welcomes the "OOCL Abu Dhabi"

OOCL Abu Dhabi, the latest giant container ship, is welcomed by OOCL Container Shipping Co., Ltd.. With the addition of the eighth environmentally friendly 24188TEU ship, the fleet structure of OOCL will be further optimized.

At the ceremony held on February 25, Mr. Xiao Junguang, Director and Group Legal Adviser of OOCL, thanked DACKS for building first-class ships for OOCL. Mr. Xiao also said that with the delivery of new ships, more and more ships painted with OOCL plum blossom logo sailed on the sea, which marked the continuous upgrading of OOCL and Group fleet structure.

OOCL  is a container shipping and logistics service company. Routes connect Asia, Europe, North America, Mediterranean, Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Australia/New Zealand.

With the rise of container shipping, OOCL changed its name to OOCL Container Line in 1969. At that time,"Victory" class ships could carry 300 TEUs. In May 2017, OOCL took over the largest container ship at that time, the Orient Hong Kong, which could carry 21,413 TEUs.

At present, OOCL has vessels of various classes ranging from 2,992 to 24,188 TEUs, as well as ice zone enhanced vessels suitable for severe cold regions. As a member of the Ocean Alliance, OOCL's vessels are part of its robust and efficient fleet. OOCL owns and charters ships that can carry general, frozen and dangerous cargo according to customers' needs. 

OOCL迎来“东方阿布扎比”号，船队规模进一步优化！

       日前，东方海外货柜航运有限公司(OOCL)迎来一艘最新的巨型集装箱船“东方阿布扎比(OOCLAbuDhabi)”号。随着第八艘环保型24188TEU船舶的加入，东方海外的船队结构将得到进一步优化。

       在2月25日举行的仪式上，东方海外董事及集团法律顾问肖俊光先生对DACKS一直以来为东方海外建造一流品质的船舶表示了感谢。肖先生还表示，随着新船陆续交付，越来越多的涂装东方海外梅花标志的船舶在大海上航行，标志着东方海外及集团的船队结构持续升级。

       东方海外(OOCL)是一家集装箱航运与物流服务公司。航线联系亚洲、欧洲、北美、地中海、印度次大陆、中东及澳洲/纽西兰等地。

       随着集装箱运输业兴起，东方海外航运公司于1969年易名为东方海外货柜航运公司。当时，“Victory”级船只可运载三百个标准柜。2017年5月，东方海外接收了当时最大的集装箱货轮，可装载21413个标准箱的东方香港号。

       现在，东方海外拥有装载量由2992至24188个标准箱，不同级别的船舶，还有适用于严寒地区的冰区加强型船舶。作为海洋联盟的成员，东方海外的船舶是其强大及高效率之船队的组成部分。东方海外所拥有及租用的船舶可根据客户的需要装运普通、冷冻及危险类别的货物。
