Threatening security? American ports will replace Chinese cranes! 

Recently, the United States believes that Chinese-made port cranes used in many American ports pose a "potential threat" to American security, and will spend huge sums of money to replace them.

According to reports, Biden recently signed an executive order giving the US Coast Guard greater responsibilities. One of the plans is to replace Chinese-made port cranes and replace them with Japanese-made cranes.

About 80 percent of cranes currently used in U.S. ports are made in China and use Chinese software systems. Ports are the main entry point for U.S. trade, creating 31 million jobs and generating more than $5.4 trillion in revenue for the U.S. economy.

Biden officials said that more than $20 billion will be allocated in the next five years to strengthen American port infrastructure through the "Investing in America Agenda", which includes using cranes made by Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in the United States to replace port cranes made in China.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that the relevant US politicians are actually curbing China's development under the guise of national security. To them, whatever China is advanced is a "threat", and all measures should be taken to suppress it. What they have done is totally bullying and overbearing, which deserves the responsibility and opposition of the international community. 

威胁安全？美港口将更换中国起重机！

       近期，美国认为许多美国港口使用的中国制造港口起重机，对美国安全构成“潜在威胁”，将斥巨资更换。

       据报道，日前拜登签署了一项行政命令，给与美国海岸警卫队更大的职责，其中有一项计划为：换掉中国制造的港口起重机，计划使用日本造起重机取而代之。

       据悉，目前在美国港口使用的起重机中，约80%由中国制造，并使用中国的软件系统。港口是美国贸易的主要入口，就业岗位达3100万个，为美国经济创造了超过5.4万亿美元的收入。

       拜登官员表示，未来5年将拨款200多亿美元，用于通过“投资美国议程”加强美国港口基础设施，这其中包括使用日本三井物产美国子公司制造的起重机，代替中国制造的港口起重机。

       外交部发言人汪文斌表示，美国有关政客打着国家安全幌子，实则遏制中国发展。对他们来说，中国什么先进，什么就是“威胁”，就要采取一切措施进行打压。他们的所作所为，完全是赤裸裸的霸凌、霸道行径，理应受到国际社会的谱责和反对。
