International shipping companies MSK and CMA have lowered surcharges

On February 20,2024, Maersk issued an announcement on the Red Sea/Gulf of Aden, announcing the reduction of the peak season surcharge (PSS) for Asia-Mediterranean routes.

From February 21st, the new PSS charges are US $750/TEU and US $1,500/FEU, compared with US $1,000/TEU and US $2,000/FEU, a decrease of 25%.

In addition to Maersk, CMA recently announced the adjustment of PSS from Europe to India, the Middle East and the Red Sea.

From March 1st, CMA will charge $200/box PSS for dry boxes from Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Poland, Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea, Black Sea and North Africa to Navasheva, Mondra and Hazla ports in India.

For dry boxes from Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Poland and Baltic Sea to Middle East, Djibouti and Yemen, PSS of US $200/box is charged.

For dry boxes from Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea, Black Sea and North Africa to Middle East, Djibouti and Yemen, PSS of USD 300/box is charged.

       2024年2月20日马士基发布红海/亚丁湾相关公告，宣布下调亚洲至地中海航线的旺季附加费(PSS)。

       从2月21日起，新PSS收费标准为750美元/TEU、1500美元/FEU，此前这一收费标准为1000美元/TEU、2000美元/FEU，降幅为25%。

       除马士基外，达飞近日也宣布调整从欧洲到印度、中东和红海的PSS。

       从3月1日起，达飞将对从北欧、斯堪的纳维亚半岛、波兰、波罗的海、地中海、亚得里亚海、黑海和北非到印度那瓦舍瓦、蒙德拉和哈兹拉港的干箱，收取200美元/箱的PSS。

      对从北欧、斯堪的纳维亚半岛、波兰和波罗的海到中东、吉布提和也门的干箱，收取200美元/箱的PSS。

       对从地中海、亚得里亚海、黑海和北非到中东、吉布提和也门的干箱，收取300美元/箱的PSS。
