The Argentine Railway Union announced a national strike

Recently, the National Secretariat of La Fraternidad, an Argentine railway union, issued a notice announcing that a national train strike will be held on Wednesday (February 21st) in response to the "lack of salary negotiation" and the salary plan that can be consistent with inflation.

The announcement, signed by union secretary-general Omar Mathurano, said the strike would be held between 0:00 and 24:00 on February 21, a decision made at Friday's meeting.

The announcement pointed out:"At the meeting on February 16, it was decided to take strike measures from 0:00 to 24:00 on February 21,2024 in response to the lack of salary negotiation and the lack of salary plans consistent with the inflation rate; The high inflation rate is eroding the salary of train drivers and causing irreparable losses."

The union also said that the measures taken were "within the scope recognized by Argentina's constitutional rights".

阿根廷铁路工会宣布将全国大罢工
