According to the news of Cailian News Agency on February 19th, on the morning of 19th local time in Yemen, Yahya Saria, military spokesman of Houthi armed forces in Yemen, issued a statement saying that Houthi armed forces attacked the British cargo ship Rubymar through missiles, and said that the ship was seriously damaged and faced the risk of sinking in the Gulf of Aden.

"The military authorities reported that the crew had abandoned the ship," the British Maritime Trade Organization said. "The ship broke down and all the crew were safe." The ship may become the first to sink after being attacked by Houthi.

British maritime security firm Ambrey also reported that a Belize-flagged, UK-registered, Lebanese-operated grocery ship was attacked in the Strait of Mande, near Yemen, last Sunday.

According to media reports, the ship was built in 1997 with a deadweight of 32,211 tons, and its registered owner is GOLDEN ADVENTURE SHIPPING incorporated in Marshall Islands.

In the past week, three merchant ships have been attacked one after another, namely, the Pollux oil tanker, the LYCAVITOS super-large bulk carrier and the Star Iris cargo ship.

In addition, Houthi armed forces also hit a US MQ-9 Death unmanned reconnaissance aircraft through missiles in Hodeidah province under their control. On February 18, local time, the US Central Command said on social media that it had carried out five strikes against Houthi armed forces in Yemen.
