ONE's first double-temperature refrigerated container in the world

Ocean Network Express (ONE) recently announced that it will cooperate with Pan Pacific International Holdings (PPIH) and NAX Japan to develop a dual-temperature refrigerated container with controlled atmosphere (CA) function, which is the first test container in the world.

The voyage, using the advanced technology-based maritime transport system, aims to transport a variety of perishable goods and fruit from Japan to the global stores of Don Quixote, Japan's largest discount chain managed by PPIH.

In addition to facilitating the transportation of goods in two different temperature regions, this innovative container also combines CA function, aiming at extending the shelf life of fruits and vegetables. By providing more efficient transportation methods for small batches of goods, this improvement is expected to completely change the logistics pattern, thus reducing inventory risks, costs, carbon dioxide emissions and food waste.

PPIH currently operates 43 stores in six Asian countries, including "DON DON DONKI", a specialty store that focuses on Japanese goods. Maintaining the freshness of Japanese fruits and vegetables in sea transportation has been a challenge, especially given their popularity at every store. The need to optimize container loading efficiency and reduce transportation costs has become imperative, especially for countries with low storage capacity such as Thailand and Malaysia.

By using dual-temperature refrigerated CA containers, ONE, PPIH and NAX Japan not only reduce overall shipping costs, but also ensure freshness and quality throughout shipping.

ONE, PPIH and NAX Japan continue to work hard to promote this pilot program to promote more stable export of Japanese agricultural products and strengthen their global promotion work.

       利用这种先进技术的海上运输系统的航行，旨在将各种易腐货物和水果从日本运输到PPIH管理的日本最大的折扣连锁店“唐吉诃德”的全球门店。

       此外，除了促进商品在两个不同温度区域的运输外，这种创新的集装箱还结合了CA功能，旨在延长水果和蔬菜的保质期。通过提供更高效的小批量货物运输方式，这一改进有望彻底改变物流格局，从而降低库存风险，降低成本、二氧化碳排放和食物浪费。

       PPIH目前在6个亚洲国家经营着43家门店，其中包括以日本商品为主的特卖店“DON DON DONKI”。在海洋运输中保持日本水果和蔬菜的新鲜度一直是一个挑战，特别是考虑到它们在每家商店都很受欢迎。优化集装箱装载效率和降低运输成本的需求已变得势在必行，特别是对于泰国和马来西亚等储存量较低的国家。
