MSC has strengthened its NWC service to South Africa since March

To improve its network of Europe-South Africa routes, MSC announced the strengthening of its NWC to South Africa service from March and the launch of a new feeder service in the region.

The current rotation of NWC services to South Africa will be significantly improved with the increase of direct flights in Bremerhaven, Germany. According to MSC's statement, this change will increase customers' flexibility in transporting goods between Germany and South Africa.

In addition, MSC will launch a new feeder service, Ingonyama Service, which will establish weekly sea links between ports in east London, South Africa and Koga.

MSC said:"This new service will establish a direct sea connection between the manufacturing hub in east London and a major port in South Africa, providing a practical alternative to trucking between the two."

With the Tokata F freighter, built in 2006, departing from Coega Port, South Africa on 25 March, the Ingonyama service will begin its weekly itinerary.

"Designed to increase flexibility for our customers and to increase MSC's coverage at South African loading and unloading ports, the additional service coverage will provide more direct service for cargo transportation between NWC and South Africa," MSC said. The feeder service is also expected to provide better options for customers who transport goods from the East London Industrial Centre and connect to MSC's global network.

       为了改善其欧洲-南非航线网络，MSC宣布从3月起加强其NWC到南非的服务，并在该地区推出新的支线服务。

       MSC表示：“这项新服务将在东伦敦的制造业中心和南非的一个主要港口之间建立直接的海上连接，为两者之间的卡车运输提供一种实用的替代方案。”

       随着2006年建造的托卡塔F号货轮于3月25日从南非Coega港出发，Ingonyama服务将开始其每周的行程。

       MSC称：“旨在为我们的客户增加灵活性，并增加MSC在南非装卸港口的覆盖范围，额外的服务覆盖范围将为NWC和南非之间的货物运输提供更直接的服务。”支线服务也有望为从东伦敦工业中心运输货物并连接到MSC全球网络的客户提供更好的选择。
