EVA Air pilots are planning a strike

According to media reports, EVA Air pilots are planning a strike, but the labor and management sides reached no conclusion after negotiation on the 24th. The pilots' union held a meeting of supervisors on the 25th, and decided to give advance notice to the two strike warning sections of EVA Branch, which are from February 7th to February 18th and from March 30th to April 7th, that is, before and after the Spring Festival and Qingming Festival holidays.

Chen Baiqian, a researcher at the pilots' union, said that consumers and passengers taking EVA Air should be allowed to file in advance, so the pilots' union gave advance notice of the two strike warning sections. If the negotiation failed, the union might launch a strike in these two strike warning sections.

The union will make a clear announcement on the official website of the pilots' union 24 hours before the strike action begins. According to relevant regulations, the right to strike still exists until the union and the management reach an agreement.

The pilots' union said that it still does not give up substantive consultation with EVA Air management before the formal strike, and seeks any possibility of reaching an agreement and consensus. As long as the management puts forward a clear case against the demands of the union 30 days ago, the union will still attend the consultation meeting held on the 31st.

长荣航空公司机师酝酿罢工

       媒体报道，长荣航空公司机师酝酿罢工，劳资双方24日协商未有结论，机师工会25日召开理监事会议，并决议提前预告长荣分会两罢工警戒区段，分别为2月7日至2月18日、3月30日至4月7日，也就是春节及清明连假前后。

       机师工会研究员陈柏谦表示，考量要让搭乘长荣航空的消费者及旅客可以提前备案，因此机师工会提前预告两罢工警戒区段，若协商未果，工会可能于这两段罢工警戒区段发动罢工。

       工会将于罢工行动开始24小时前，机师工会官方网站上针对罢工开始时日等相关资讯明确公告。根据有关规定，工会与资方未达成协议前，罢工权仍一直存在。

       机师工会称，依旧不放弃在正式罢工前与长荣航空资方实质协商，并寻求达成协议与共识的任何可能性，只要资方于30日前针对工会诉求提出明确对案，工会仍将出席参与31日召开的协商会议。
