Good news! ZIM opens new route

Recently, Star Shipping announced the launch of a new trans-Pacific route ZIM PNW Xpress (ZPX), which connects Asia and North America through Vancouver Port to ensure efficient transportation time.

The order of calling ports of the new route is: Gaimei-Yantian-Kaohsiung-Xiamen-Ningbo-Shanghai-Vancouver-Busan-Gaimei, and the first ship has set sail.

The ZPX route has extensive rail connections and can cover all major "inland point multimodal transport" (IPI) destinations in Canada and the inland United States, including eastern and central Canada and the Midwest of the United States.

It is reported that in the American railway freight network, IPI points, as the most frequently used mode of transportation, have played an important role in transit.

Hani Kalinski, Executive Vice President of ZIM Pacific Business Department, said that ZIM will continue to provide flexible and high-quality supply chain solutions to meet the changing needs of the market.

       最近，以星航运宣布推出一条新跨太航线ZIM PNW Xpress（ZPX），该航线通过温哥华港连接亚洲和北美地区，保证高效的运输时间。

       新航线挂靠港序为：盖梅-盐田-高雄-厦门-宁波-上海-温哥华-釜山-盖梅，首航船已经启航。

       ZPX航线拥有广泛的铁路连接，能够覆盖加拿大和美国内陆所有主要“内陆点多式联运”（IPI）目的地，包括加拿大东部和中部、美国中西部等地区。

       据悉，在美国铁路货运网络中，IPI点作为使用最频繁的运输方式，起到了不容忽视的中转作用。
