The Maersk ship flying the American flag has been attacked again!

The U.S. Central Command posted on social media network X that local Houthi rebels in Yemen fired three ballistic missiles at the container ship Maersk Detroit around 2 p.m. on the 24th. The U.S. Central Command said one missile hit the sea and the other two were shot down by the USS Gravley.

The Maersk Detroit, built in 2008, is part of a fleet owned and operated by Maersk Line Ltd, a U.S. subsidiary of Maersk.

When the attack failed, the Maersk Detroit and another Maersk Chesapeake were protected by a U.S. Navy escort, and then changed course and returned to the Gulf of Aden instead of continuing to cross the Red Sea.

The vessels were reported to be safe and no crew members were injured.

Although multinational navies continue to be dispatched under the "Guardian of Prosperity" operation, and American and British troops also attack Houthi strongholds in Yemen, attacks on merchant ships continue almost every day. 

悬挂美国国旗的马士基船又遭袭了！

      美国中央司令部(Centcom)在社交媒体网络X上发帖称，24号下午2点左右，也门当地胡塞叛军向集装箱船“马士基底特律”(Maersk Detroit)发射了三枚弹道导弹。美国中央司令部说，一枚导弹击中了海面，另外两枚被美国海军格勒夫利号军舰击落。

       2008年建造的“马士基底特律”号是马士基航运有限公司(Maersk Line Ltd)拥有和运营的船队的一部分，马士基航运公司是马士基的美国子公司。

       袭击失败时，马士基底特律号和另一艘马士基切萨皮克号在美国海军护航的保护下，随后改变航线，返回亚丁湾，而不是继续穿越红海。

       据报道，这些船只是安全的，没有船员受伤。

       尽管多国海军在“繁荣卫士”行动下持续出动，美国和英国军队也在也门对胡塞武装的据点进行打击，但对商船的袭击几乎每天都在继续。
