ONE announced the suspension of Asia-Red Sea AR1 service!

Due to the recent escalation of the Red Sea crisis, ONE announced on January 25th that it would suspend AR1 service until further notice.

ONE said the decision was made out of a priority for the safety of crew, ship and cargo. Although it may cause inconvenience to customers, it is a precaution due to safety concerns.

ONE is closely monitoring developments and will immediately resume AR1 services when it is deemed ships can once again safely navigate the area.

In addition to ONE, Hapag-Lloyd of THE Alliance also pointed out in THE announcement that alternative routes of Red Sea/Gulf of Aden ports are being studied and these routes will be announced soon.
