1000USD/TEU, HPL and CMA CGM adjust the freight rate again 

Recently, shipping companies HPL and CMACGM respectively announced new freight rate adjustment announcements.

HPL announced a GRI/GRA for cargo shipments from the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East to 20' and 40' dry containers, refrigerated containers and special containers (including high cube equipment) on the east and west coasts of the United States, the Gulf Coast of Mexico and Canada. This GRI/GRA applies to all containers that are fully closed from February 10,2024 until further notice. An increase of $1,000 per container.

HPL pointed out that the Indian subcontinent includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and the Middle East includes Albania, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

CMA CGM has announced a new peak season surcharge from January 10 until further notice. A surcharge of $150 per TEU from Far East ports (North, Central and South China, as well as Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia) to Central West Africa (Nigeria, C ô te d 'Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Togo and Equatorial Guinea).

In addition, CMA will introduce the same level of PSS for goods from China to northern West Africa (Liberia, Senegal, Mauritania, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde and Sao Tome and Principe) on January 12th, with a price of $150 per TEU.

       近日，船公司赫伯罗特(HPL)和达飞轮船(CMACGM)分别公布了新的运价调整公告。

       赫伯罗特宣布，对从印度次大陆和中东到美国东海岸、西海岸、墨西哥湾沿岸以及加拿大的20‘和40'干集装箱、冷藏集装箱和特殊集装箱（包括高立方设备）运输的货物进行一般运价上调(GRI)/一般运价调整(GRA)。本GRI/GRA适用于2024年2月10日起全部封闭的所有集装箱，直至另行通知为止。每个集装箱增加1000美元。

       赫伯罗特指出，印度次大陆包括印度、巴基斯坦、孟加拉国和斯里兰卡，中东包括阿联茵、卡塔尔、巴林、阿曼、科威特、伊拉克、沙特阿拉伯和约旦。

       达飞轮船宣布于1月10日起实施新的旺季附加费，直至另行通知。从远东港口（中国北部、中部和南部，以及中国香港特别行政区、东北亚和东南亚）到西非中部地区（尼日利亚、Côte科特迪瓦、贝宁、加纳、多哥和赤道几内亚），每TEU150美元的附加费。

       此外，达飞轮船还将于1月12日为从中国到西非北部地区(利比里亚、塞内加尔、毛里塔尼亚、冈比亚、几内亚、塞拉利昂、几内亚比绍、佛得角和圣多美和普林西比）的货物引入相同级别的PSS，每TEU150美元。
