Abnormal waves! Peru temporarily closed 58 ports on the country's northern and central coasts 

According to CCTV news, on January 4, local time, Peru's National Emergency Operations Center announced that due to abnormal waves in the central and northern coastal areas of the country, 58 local ports have been closed for safety reasons, and the closure will last at least until January 7, local time.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Peru's National Emergency Operations Center announced on the official account of social media platform X that due to abnormal waves in the Pacific coast of the country, the maritime department decided to temporarily close 58 ports on the northern and central coasts of the country.

According to local media reports, the port closure measures will last until January 7th. Peru's maritime department suggested that during the port closure, fishermen should suspend going out to sea, ships should berth in port, and nearby residents should avoid gathering on the coast.

According to reports, Peru's Pacific Ocean wave anomaly and the recent California coastal area (December 28 last year) frequent waves attack related. Peru's maritime authorities said that the wave anomaly and Japan on the 1st 7.6 magnitude earthquake has nothing to do. 

海浪异常！秘鲁临时关闭该国北部和中部海岸的58个港口

       根据央视新闻消息，当地时间1月4日，秘鲁国家紧急行动中心发布公告称，由于该国中部和北部沿海地区出现异常海浪，出于安全考虑，当地已经有58个港口被关闭，而且关闭状态至少会持续到当地时间1月7日。

       新华社消息称，秘鲁国家紧急行动中心在社交媒体平台X官方账号上宣布，因该国太平洋沿岸区域出现异常海浪，海事部门决定临时关闭该国北部和中部海岸的58个港口。

       当地媒体报道，港口关闭措施持续到1月7日。秘鲁海事部门建议，港口关闭期间，渔民暂停出海，船只入港停泊，附近居民避免在海岸聚集。

       据报道，秘鲁太平洋沿岸区域出现的海浪异常现象与美国加州沿海地区近期（去年12月28日起）频现的巨浪袭击有关。秘鲁海事部门说，这一海浪异常现象与日本1日发生的7.6级强震无关。
