Only 38 ships! MSK urgently adjusted, and the Red Sea route was hit hard again

Previously, Maersk Hangzhou was attacked after Maersk resumed traffic in the Red Sea, and Maersk once again stopped all ship activities in the Red Sea.

However, according to the latest ship schedule released by Maersk, Maersk still plans to let more than 30 container ships pass through Suez Canal and Red Sea in the future, although one of its ships was attacked in the area over the weekend.

It is reported that neither the crew nor the ship was injured, and the "Maersk Hangzhou" has continued to sail north to Suez Canal.

On the evening of January 1st, Maersk updated its latest ship navigation plan. Compared with the previously announced ship plan, the total number of ships in the latest plan is 165, of which 102 ships bypass the Cape of Good Hope (accounting for 61.8%),38 ships continue to pass through Suez Canal (accounting for 23%),and 25 ships are still to be determined (accounting for 15.2%).

With the complex and changeable situation in the Red Sea and ship planning, cargo will face difficulties in booking space, rising freight, prolonged shipping schedule and delayed delivery date. For goods with timeliness requirements, it is recommended to choose China-Europe train to avoid delaying delivery date.
