500 million dollars! Maersk invests in Southeast Asian market!

At present, the Southeast Asian market is one of the best sub-tracks in the shipping industry, and the container shipping market in Southeast Asia is still in a rapid growth stage. The vigorous development of international trade has contributed considerable shipping increment to the region. 

Recently, Maersk issued a statement announcing that it will invest more than 500 million US dollars to strengthen the comprehensive supply chain capability in Southeast Asia.

Maersk plans to build a green fuel infrastructure, pilot biodiesel fuel and introduce electric trucks by mid-2024.

This investment is part of Maersk's global integration strategy, aiming at strengthening warehousing and distribution, air transportation, inland logistics, sea transportation and terminal business.
