Kuehne + Nagel: Acquisition of well-known Canadian customs brokers!
On November 28th, Kuehne + Nagel, the world's largest freight forwarder, officially announced the acquisition of Farrow, a well-known Canadian customs broker, to expand its customs declaration service in North America and supplement the cross-border capacity of the United States with Canada and Mexico.
Kuehne + Nagel took a step forward in its 2026 roadmap growth target with the announcement of the acquisition of Farrow. The acquisition complements Kuehne + Nagel's services for companies that increasingly rely on customs clearance services and supports growing demand in an increasingly complex international trade regulation environment.
Headquartered in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Farrow is one of the largest private and family-owned customs declaration, trade consulting and logistics service providers in North America. Its excellent service comes from a 112-year tradition and has 830 employees in 41 locations in Canada and the United States. In 2022, Farrow handled more than 1.5 million customs declarations.
In June this year, Kuehne + Nagel also signed the acquisition of Morgan Cargo, a freight forwarding company specializing in the transportation and handling of perishable goods in South Africa, Britain and Kenya, and strengthened its business exhibition in the Middle East and Africa.
It is reported that the acquisition of Farrow is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary transaction conditions. After the completion of the transaction, Farrow will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kuehne + Nagel.

据悉，收购Farrow交易预计将于2024年第一季度完成。此次收购尚需获得监管机构的批准和惯例成交条件。交易完成后，Farrow将成为Kuehne+Nagel的全资子公司。
