Increase by 15%! Container volume from China to America released in October! 

According to the latest data from Descartes Datamyne, in October 2023, the volume of US imports from Asia by sea increased by 11% in a single month again! 

According to statistics, in October, the sea container traffic from Asia to the United States increased by 11% compared with the same month of last year to 1,653,444 (converted by 20-foot standard containers), which was the second consecutive month of growth.

In terms of categories, the top 10 items of transportation volume all showed an increase. Among them, toys and sporting goods increased by 25%, clothing by 14%, electronic motors by 17%, machinery by 10%, steel products by 19%, and rubber products (tires) by 16%.

From the perspective of countries, the container volume exported from China to the United States, which accounts for nearly 60% of the total transportation volume, increased by 15% compared with the same month of last year,7% in South Korea,10% in Vietnam and 15% in Singapore.

As the largest import market of the United States in Asia, China shipped nearly 1 million TEUs of containers to the United States by sea in October, and the export container volume increased by 15% compared with the same period last year!

       据Descartes Datamyne最新数据显示：2023年10月，美国从亚洲地区经由海运进口的货量再次取得单月11%的增长！

       据统计，10月亚洲发往美国的海上集装箱运输量较去年同月增长11%至1653444个（以20英尺标准集装箱换算），为连续第两个月呈现增长。

       从品类来看，运输量前10大品项全部呈现增长。其中，玩具运动用品增加25%、服饰14%、电子电机17%、机械类10%、钢铁产品19%、橡胶制品（轮胎）16%。

       从国别来看，占整体运输量比重近六成中国输美集装箱量较去年同月增长15%、韩国增长7%、越南增长10%、新加波增长15%。

       作为美国在亚洲地区的最大进口市场，中国10月份通过海运运往美国的集装箱货量接近100万标箱，与去年同期相比，出口集装箱量大幅增长了15%！
