On November 29th, a Chinese cargo ship named "Xiangshun 899" sank in South Korean Sea area. 

According to the owner of the ship, in September this year, he spent nearly 800,000 yuan to buy the "Xiangshun 899" cargo ship from Qinzhou, Guangxi, and planned to engage in sea transportation.

After the ship arrived in Shandong in early November, it was inspected and repaired by a ship repair company. On November 17, he received a message from the ship repair party that the ship disappeared while sheltering from the wind in Weihai waters.

"It is said that the ship was blown away by the strong wind, so I have been looking for the ship until I read the news that the ship drifted to South Korea." The owner said that during the incident, the cargo ship was being handed over and was not put into operation, and there was no cargo or people on board.

It is reported that the sunken cargo ship was built in 2017, with a length of 48 meters and a width of 8.8 meters. At present, Weihai Maritime Safety Administration of Shandong Province and local police in South Korea are verifying the ship's condition.

       11月29日，一艘名为“香顺899”的中国货船在韩国海域沉没。

       据该船船主介绍，今年9月，他花费近80万元从原船主手中购得广西钦州籍的“祥顺899”货船，计划从事海上运输。

       11月初，该船抵达山东后，由船舶维修公司进行了检查和维修。11月17日，他接到修船方消息称，该船在威海海域避风时失踪。

       “据说船被大风吹跑了，我就一直在找船，看新闻才知道船漂到韩国去了。”船主说，事发期间，货船正在办理交接手续，并未投入运营，船上没有货物也没有人。

       据悉，沉没的货船建造于2017年，长48米，宽8.8米。目前，山东威海海事局及韩国当地警方，正在核实船舶情况。
