Attention! CMA CGM Symi Container Ship Attacked!

According to a report by Al Mayadeen TV on November 25th, shortly before the Palestinian-Israeli "temporary ceasefire" agreement came into effect, a cargo ship was attacked in the Indian Ocean from the evening of 23rd to the early morning of 24th local time, causing no casualties. 

The Associated Press said that the attacked ship was the "Symi" container ship, owned by the Singapore-based East Pacific Shipping Company and operated by the French container liner company CMA CGM, flying the Maltese flag at the time of the incident.

It is worth noting that East Pacific Shipping is effectively controlled by Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer.

It is reported that the shipping companies sharing cabins on CMA CGM Symi include many well-known liner companies such as CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping, Evergreen and OOCL.

Moreover, the routes served by this ship call at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha in Guangzhou, Shekou in Shenzhen and other major domestic container ports.

       据黎巴嫩广场电视台(Al Mayadeen TV) 11月25日报道，在巴以“临时停火”协议生效前不久，当地时间23日晚至24日凌晨，一船货运轮船在印度洋遇袭，没有造成人员伤亡。

       美联社称，遇袭船只为“Symi”号集装箱轮船，为总部位于新加坡的东太平洋航运公司所有，由法国集装箱班轮公司CMA CGM运营，事发时悬挂马耳他国旗。

       值得注意的是，东太平洋航运公司由以色列亿万富翁伊丹·奥弗(Idan Ofer)实际控制。

       据悉，CMA CGM Symi上共舱的船公司包括达飞，中远海运、长荣、东方海外等多家知名班轮公司。

       而且该轮所服务的航线挂靠青岛、上海、宁波、厦门、广州南沙、深圳蛇口等多个国内主要集装箱港口。
