The container transportation market has entered the off-season, and the freight rate in West American has been falling continuously!

The latest Shanghai Export Container Freight Index (SCFI) released this week has fallen for two consecutive days, and the four major ocean-going routes have fallen simultaneously. The index fell by 30.32 points to 999.92 points, with a weekly decline of 2.94%,and once again fell below the thousand-point mark.

The freight rate in West American has suffered heavy losses for two consecutive weeks, with the largest drop of 7.97% this week. On November 17, the latest quotations from several companies shipped to West American have returned to the cost price of around 1,500 US dollars/FEU, which is also a long-term contract price, while each large box on the European line has fallen below 1,000 US dollars. 

The freight rate from the Far East to Europe was 707 US dollars/TEU, down 15 US dollars or 2.08% from the previous week; Far East to the Mediterranean shipped to $1147/TEU, down $37 or 3.13% from the previous week.

The freight rate from the Far East to West American was 1696 US dollars/FEU, down 147 US dollars or 7.98%; Far East to East American freight rate of 2351 US dollars/FEU, compared with the previous week down 3 US dollars, a drop of 0.13%.

Near the ocean line, the Far East to Kansai, Japan, fell by 3 US dollars per TEU compared with the previous week, to 304 US dollars; Far East to Kanto, Japan fell by 2 dollars per TEU to 319 dollars; Far East to Southeast Asia per TEU was flat compared with the previous week, at US $194; Far East to South Korea fell by $3 per TEU to $139. 

集运市场进入淡季，美西运价连续下跌！

       本周最新出炉的上海出口集装箱运价指数(SCFI)连续两连跌，四大远洋航线同步运价下滑，指数下跌30.32点至999.92点，周跌幅为2.94%，再度跌破千点大关。

       美西运价连续两周遭重挫，本周跌幅最大达7.97%。11月17日，运往美西数家公司最新报价已回到1500美元/FEU左右的成本价，也是长约价，欧洲线每大箱则跌破1000美元。

       远东到欧洲运价为707美元/TEU，较前一周下跌15美元，跌幅2.08%；远东到地中海运为1147美元/TEU，较前一周下跌37美元，跌幅3.13%。

       远东到美西运价为1696美元/FEU,下跌147美元，跌幅7.98%；远东到美东运价为2351美元/FEU，较前一周下跌3美元，跌幅0.13%。

       近洋线方面，远东到日本关西每TEU较前一周下跌3美元，为304美元；远东到日本关东每TEU下跌2美元，为319美元；远东到东南亚每TEU较前一周持平，为194美元；远东到韩国每TEU下跌3美元，为139美元。
