Recently, a container ship loaded with cargo successfully arrived at Beira Port, Mozambique, marking the official opening of EAST AFRICA MOZAMBIQUE SERVICE of South Company of COSCO, and lighting up the new version of COSCO Africa Service Network. 

In recent years, with the increasing demand rigidity of mineral resources, COSCO Shipping holdings actively pays attention to the industrial layout of customers, successfully opens EMS routes for customers, and provides more stable and fast choice of maritime logistics channels for customers in the hinterland of southern Africa to export goods. Due to its geographical advantages, this route will also become a new link in the export supply chain of resource goods.

According to reports, the EMS route runs for 14 days, providing feeder service to Mozambique via Mombasa, Kenya, and the order of call port is Mombasa-Beira-Maputo-Nakkala-Mombasa.

This service not only covers the three major ports of Beira, Maputo and Nacala in Mozambique, but also radiates to landlocked countries such as Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, providing more convenient and efficient shipping services for export goods such as minerals, timber and agricultural products in southern Africa.

COSCO Shipping holdings said that it will do its best to ensure the new routes, further consolidate the route operation, strengthen market development and promotion, and contribute to the economic and trade development in Africa.

       近日，一舰满载货物的集装箱船顺利抵达莫桑比克贝拉港，标志着中远海控旗下南公司的莫桑比克EMS航线(EAST AFRICA MOZAMBIQUE SERVICE) 正式开启，中远海控非洲服务网络点亮新版图。

       近年来，随着矿类资源的需求刚性不断增长，中远海控积极关注客户产业布局，成功为客户开通了EMS航线，为南部非洲地区的腹地客户出口货物，提供了更加稳定、快速的海上物流通道选择。由于地理位置优势，此航线也将成为资源类货物的出口供应链新纽带。

       据报道，EMS航线班期为14天，提供经肯尼亚蒙巴萨转运至莫桑比克的支线服务，挂靠港序为：蒙巴萨-贝拉-马普托-纳卡拉-蒙巴萨。

       该服务不仅覆盖了莫桑比克的贝拉、马普托和纳卡拉三个要港口，还可以辐射到马拉维、赞比亚、津巴布韦等内陆国家，为南部非洲地区的矿类、木材、农产品等出口货物，提供更加便捷高效的航运服务。

       中远海控称，后续将全力做好新航线的保障工作，进一步巩固航线运营，加强市场开发和推广，为非洲地区经贸发展贡献力量。
