Sea off Germany: Two cargo ships collide, one person dies!
The German Maritime Emergency Central Command issued a notice on the 24th, saying that two cargo ships collided in the North Sea north of Germany in the early morning, causing one death and four missing.
According to the report, the collision occurred at about 5 am that day, about 12 nautical miles (about 22 kilometers) southwest of Helgoland and about 17 nautical miles (about 31 kilometers) northeast of Langeoog.
The freighters involved in the two ships are the "Verity" flying the British flag and the "Polesie" flying the Bahamas flag.
According to the notification information, the "Verity" may have sunk, and the "Polesie" with 22 people on board is currently floating.
According to German media reports, the search and rescue work is underway,the cause of the accident is unclear.

据通报消息,“维里带”号可能已沉没,载有22人的“波莱西”号目前保持漂浮状态。
据德国媒体报道,搜救工作正在进行中,事故发生原因暂不清楚。
