Capacity ranking of global liner companies in October 

According to the latest data released by Alphaliner, as of October 6th, the number of container ships in operation in the world totaled 6,712 ships, with a total capacity of 2,789,400 TEU, equivalent to 333 million deadweight tons. Among them, the total capacity of the top three liner companies accounted for 46.64% of the global market. 

The top three liner companies in the world are Mediterranean Shipping (5,394,300 TEU, accounting for 19.34%）， Maersk Shipping (4,128,900 TEU, accounting for 14.80%） and CMA Freight (3,488,100 TEU, accounting for 12.50%）。

According to Alphaliner, COSCO Shipping Group, Beurotte, Ocean Network Shipping (ONE), Evergreen Shipping, Modern Merchant Shipping, Yangming Shipping and Star Shipping ranked 4th and 10th in terms of capacity. Among them, the top 7 have capacity exceeding 1.5 million TEU. 

10月全球班轮公司运力排名

       根据Alphaliner最新公布的数据，截至10月6日，全球在运营集装箱船数量共计6712舰，总运力为278.94万TEU,折合约3.33亿载重吨。其中，前三大班轮公司总运力占全球市场的46.64%。

       全球班轮公司运力排名前三分别是地中海航运(539.43万TEU,占比19.34%）、马士基航运(412.89万TEU,占比14.80%）以及达飞轮船(348.81万TEU,占比12.50%）。

       Alphaliner指出，运力排名第4名第10名依次为：中远海运集团、赫伯罗特、海洋网联船务(ONE)、长荣海运、现代商船、阳明海运和以星航运。其中前7名运力都超过150万TEU。

       现在，运力排名或许已不再是班轮公司最看重的事情，对于他们来说，有效地增加盈利才是真正的生存法则。
